These branding alliances are not financial sponsorships and have proved extremely beneficial for all parties since 2011 and continue to grow with championship winning teams and athletes across Australia. The Royal Australian Navy’s rollout of its “Team Navy” brand across various elite sporting platforms is gaining momentum and with 6 high performance teams now racing under the Navy banner, more announcements are expected over the coming months. Friers Offshore Racing’s Team Manager, Skye Gregory, commented “having a reputable organisation like the Royal Australian Navy ask you to carry their name and logo on your boat was the easiest question I’ve ever been asked. As a Team, we felt humbled by the opportunity to join “Team Navy” and as a result, we have had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful men and women who serve in the “RAN”.
